1. 2016 NBA All-Star Game – Feb. 14, Air Canada Centre |
Taking place outside the U.S. for the first time since its inception in 1951, basketball fans in and around Toronto can check out the 2016 NBA All-Star Game live from the Air Canada Centre on Feb. 14. With the likes of LeBron James, Paul George, and Kobe Bryant (for the final time) set to compete, plenty of star-studded action is in store for the mid-season favorite. Other event options to attend during NBA All-Star weekend include the Celebrity Game, Rising Stars Challenge, and 3-Point and Slam Dunk contests.
2. NHL Division Leaders in Action |
Another great option for things to do on Valentine's Day for him is catch an NHL hockey game, and as of Feb. 2, fans have the chance to see all four division leaders in action over the course of the weekend. On Feb. 11, the second place Dallas Stars will pay a visit to the Windy City to take on the Central-leading Chicago Blackhawks, who they shut out at home back in December. The Stars also will host the Metropolitan Division’s first-place team, the Washington Capitals, on Feb. 13. Meanwhile, on Feb. 12, Pacific Division top team, the Los Angeles Kings, will travel to New York for their only road game of the regular season versus the Rangers, while the same day, the St. Louis Blues will look to avenge a December loss against the Atlantic-leading Florida Panthers.

Over 30 Monster Jam events will be taking place from Feb. 12-15 in the following host cities: Anaheim, Arlington, Cleveland, Denver, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Pittsburgh, Portland, Rosemont, and Worcester.
4. WWE Raw – Feb. 15, Honda Center |
Start your week off with WWE Raw live from the Honda Center in Anaheim on Feb. 15. Other WWE events available during the weekend include WWE NXT Live in Jacksonville (Feb. 11) and Palatka, Fla. (Feb. 13), or head to California for WWE Live in Fresno (Feb. 13) and Bakersfield (Feb. 14).
5. Kansas at Oklahoma – Feb. 13, Lloyd Noble Center |
Watch as these Big 12 powerhouses meet for the second and final time in the regular season. Much has changed since Jan. 4, when the then-No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks secured a 109-106 overtime home win over the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners, who were undefeated at the time. As of Feb. 2, it has been Oklahoma atop the national rankings, while Kansas has suffered three losses; though still remain in the top 10, easily making this one of the most anticipated rematches of the year.
