Chance Tour
Chicago’s own Chance the Rapper will spend his fall on the road supporting his latest critically acclaimed album, according to a new announcement from the celebrated performer. On June 21 the star confirmed details of his Magnificent Coloring World Tour, which will kick off on Sept. 15 in San Diego. Altogether Chance will perform in at least 18 cities around North America, including his hometown of Chicago, before the tour ends in October.

New Tour Will Support Chance’s 2016 Mixtape, “Coloring Book”
The string of fall 2016 tour dates follows the release of Chance the Rapper’s fourth mixtape, “Coloring Book.” The new effort was released on May 13, and it became Chance’s first album to land on the Billboard 200 albums chart--an impressive feat for the independent artist.
In typical Chance fashion, “Coloring Book” features a bevy of guest stars, including internationally renowned rappers and local artists, like the Chicago Children’s Choir. One of the most popular songs on the album features rap icons 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. You can watch the official video for their collaboration, “No Problem,” below.
Like “Coloring Book,” the upcoming Chance the Rapper tour will feature a number of special guests. At the time of the tour announcement, however, those supporting acts have not yet been confirmed.
Chance to Headline Hometown Show at U.S. Cellular Field with Lil Wayne, John Legend
On Sept. 24, Chance the Rapper will head to the home of his beloved Chicago White Sox for a one-day festival in his hometown. Dubbed Chance the Rapper's Magnificent Coloring Day, the single-day event promises a star-studded lineup, including "Coloring Book" collaborators Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Young Thug. Other stars on tap to perform include John Legend, Alicia Keys, Skrillex, and Tyler the Creator.
