The legendary jazz acts took to social media to share their 2019 co-headlining North American dates with fans via Twitter:

The 10-date trek will take Herbie Hancock and Kamasi Washington across North America. The tour will open July 30 at the Wolf Trap in Vienna, Va. Tour stops in include Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall, Philadelphia’s Met, Denver’s Mission Ballroom, and Detroit’s Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre. The tour is set to end August 23 at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, Calif.
In 2018, jazz pianist Hancock released his latest album, The Imagine Project. The album was jam-packed with hits and included various collaborations with today’s hottest acts from Pink, Dave Mathews, and Juanes. The Jazz album peaked at No. 12 on the Polish Albums Charts and reached No. 2 on the Billboard Jazz Albums.
Heaven and Earth and The Choice mark Washington’s latest albums released days within each other in June 2018 . Both albums were packed with chart-topping singles from “Ohh Child,” “Fists of Fury,” and “Street Fighter Mas.”
