The rock singer and songwriter known as Johnny Cougar announced 2019 tour dates that will span North America early next year.
Mellencamp's tour announcement coincides with the release of his latest album, Other People's Stuff, his first album since 2017's Sad Clowns & Hillbillies.
An Indiana native, Mellencamp got his start in the mid-'70s in New York. He achieved mainstream success in 1982 with American Fool, a 5x multi-platinum album that featured the hit song "Hurts So Good."
Nearly four decades later, Mellencamp is still going strong, with a 2019 tour that will feature 26 stops, starting in South Bend, Ind. (Mellencamp's home state) in February and wrapping up in Florida with a March 30 concert in Clearwater, Fla.
