Josh Groban 2016
Josh Groban fans are getting another chance to see the vocal powerhouse live with the announcement of 2016 live dates from the singer. The summer Josh Groban tour will be a continuation of his 2015 fall trek, supporting Groban’s new album “Stages.”
Announced on Nov. 24, the new list of Josh Groban concerts will kick off mid-July and extend through the end of August. The first run of next year’s performances includes just over 20 concerts, among them many stops at outdoor amphitheaters near major cities like New York, Boston, and Chicago.

Latest Josh Groban Tour Setlist Features Top Broadway Covers
Groban’s most recent album contains only cover songs from Broadway musicals and other films, and his live shows draw heavily from “Stages.” The latest Josh Groban setlists include musical favorites like “All I Ask of You,” “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” and “Bring Him Home,” as well as a cover of the Judy Garland classic “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
Although Groban has not yet confirmed exactly what he’ll be performing during his 2016 dates, it seems likely he’ll stick to this recent material since the tour is keeping the same name as his 2015 dates. Expect a heavy concentration of covers to show up on Groban’s setlists next summer.
Groban has been known to surprise his fans with special requests, so there’s no telling what you may get to hear during his summer tour. During one of his fall shows in Washington, D.C., a fan requested to sing “The Prayer” with him on stage. As has become tradition, the fan was permitted to share a mic with the award-winning headliner:
Sarah McLachlan Selected as Opening Act for Josh Groban’s 2016 Tour
On select dates, three-time GRAMMY Award winner Sarah McLachlan will join the Josh Groban tour as special guest. It won’t the first time Groban and McLachlan have shared a stage: The two sang McLachlan’s hit “Angel” at Live 8 in Philadelphia. See the performance in the video below:
