Memorial Day Weekend 2019 Concerts

Things to do Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer. That means concerts, festivals and sporting events will be in full swing. Make Memorial Day a memorable one by attending the top MDW events in your area.

Paul McCartney (Raleigh, N.C.)

See Paul McCartney live and experience an exhilarating evening of selections from the musician’s half-century repertoire. Sing along with tens of thousands of fans as McCartney plays Beatles’ favorites along with his new album.

Billy Joel (Philadelphia)

New York's most prolific singer-songwriter is ready to bring his hits to Philadelphia this Memorial Day Weekend. This is a must-see show for Philadelphia/South Jersey Residents. Boasting an unparalleled collection of piano ballads and rock 'n roll anthems, Billy Joel is a great time.

Bottle Rock Festival (Napa, Calif.)

With its unique combination of phenomenal live music acts, iconic wineries, and world-renowned culinary foods, you won’t find an event more pleasing to all the senses than the BottleRock Festival. Performers include Imagine Dragons, Pharrell Williams, and Logic to name a few.

Indy 500 (Indianapolis)

The biggest spectacle in racing returns on Memorial Day Weekend. The Indy 500 will let you bear witness to the best drivers in open-wheel racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Indy 500 also includes a concert with some of the nation’s top artists.

Eric Church (Nashville, Tenn.)

As fans have come to know (and love), Church’s ever-growing discography often hinges on more of the rock and roll side of the genre, and his work has been regularly rewarded for it through award-winning solo efforts like the album Chief and popular track “Springsteen,” in addition to notable collaborative efforts like “The Only Way I Know,” recorded with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. Eric Church is a great country concert to attend with family this Memorial Day weekend.

Boston Red Sox at Houston Astros (Houston)

In the mood for a ballgame? The Boston Red Sox face off against the Houston Astros all weekend. You can catch a game Friday-Monday. The Houston Astros finish off the long weekend with the Chicago Cubs on Monday.

Bob Seger (Bristow, Va.)

For more than four decades, Bob Seger has set a high standard for the art of live music. Seger’s reputation as one of the most acclaimed classic rock performers of all time is fitting. This tour is a must see for Rock fans across the country.

Ariana Grande (New Orleans)

Buy Ariana Grande tickets from Vivid Seats for the chance to experience a live performance by one of pop’s biggest and brightest stars during an upcoming concert event. The multi-talented triple threat notably began her career in entertainment through prime acting stints on Broadway and Nickelodeon, though it was her turn as a solo artist that ultimately took the world by storm.

Jason Aldean (Durant, Okla.)

One of the biggest names in modern country music, Jason Aldean came out with his first album in 2005 and his career hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down since then. Jason Aldean is a household name, and a great show for the whole family.

The Who (Philadelphia)

One of the most influential bands in modern rock history, The Who effectively changed the course of modern music with its range of celebrated studio and live recordings. The Who have been rocking on since 1965. This a great blast to the past for any The Who fan.

Carrie Underwood (Tacoma, Wash.)

Since winning “American Idol” in 2005, Carrie Underwood has gone on to become one of the most successful country music artists of her generation. Underwood will be in Washington giving the Pacific Northwester a taste of country.

Cardi B (Syracuse, N.Y.)

Cardi B, one of the hottest names in hip hop, is returning to her home state of New York to perform over Memorial Day weekend.

Imagine Dragons (New York)

Imagine Dragons burst onto the alternative-rock scene in 2008, and thanks to the success of smash hits like “Radioactive” and “It’s Time,” emerging as a top act with a unique style. Imagine Dragons provide another great New York MDW concert option.

Cincinnati Reds at Chicago Cubs (Chicago)

Another great baseball game in the Midwest is the Reds vs. Cubs at Wrigley Field. This is a great event for family and friends.

Celine Dion (Las Vegas)

Boasting one of the most powerful voices in modern pop music, Celine Dion remains an impeccable live performer after more than three decades on stage.
