Muse Tour 2015-16 to Support New Album, 'Drones'

Matt Bellamy and Muse will finally make their way to North America beginning in November for the sixth leg of the band’s ongoing Drones World Tour. Through the early months of 2016, the Muse tour will visit arenas in more than 15 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Two New York-based rock outfits, Phantogram and X Ambassadors, will share supporting act duties on the road.

360° Experience Promised for Upcoming Muse Concerts

Muse has a special concert experience in store for fans attending the Drones World Tour in North America. Most shows will feature the band performing in the round, at the center of the arena floor in each city along the way. Much like the recent U2 concert venture, Muse’s central stage setup will give more fans the chance to fit into each venue. Plus, with the full floor set up as general admission surrounding the stage, fans with GA tickets have a better chance to get up close to where Bellamy and the band will perform.

 

“Drones” Marks First U.S. No. 1 Album for Muse

The ongoing Drones World Tour supports Muse’s latest album of the same name. It was the group’s seventh studio album and the first to reach the top slot on the American mainstream albums chart. Muse also earned its fourth career No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart with the album’s lead single, “Dead Inside.” Many of the new tracks have featured heavily into the band’s 2015 live shows. So far, concerts from earlier in the year have also covered other major points of the band’s career. Sample Muse setlists have featured staples like “Uprising,” “Supermassive Black Hole,” and “Starlight.”
