For fans wondering if Paul McCartney will tour in 2018, you now have your answer.
The Beatles legend has annouced his Freshen Up Tour 2019, corresponding to "Egypt Station," his long awaited follow up to 2013's "New" and his 17th solo album overall.
McCartney shared news of the tour on Twitter:
"Egypt Station" will drop Sept. 7 and just 10 days later, McCartney will kick off the first leg of his tour in Quebec, followed by three more Canadian cities: Montreal, Winnipeg, and Edmonton.
McCartney rose to fame in the 1960s as the bass player and singer for the Beatles before going solo once the band broke up in 1970. Throughout his career he has worked with a diverse set of artists ranging from Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder to Kanye West and Rihanna.
