Sean Lennon and Primus frontman Les Claypool announced on March 21 a new collaborative project, dubbed the Claypool Lennon Delirium. The collective will be releasing its debut album and embarking on a supporting tour in the summer of 2016. Among the more than 30 upcoming performances, the Claypool Lennon Delirium tour will also make stops at festivals like Bonnaroo and Colorado’s new Vertex Festival, which will feature headliners Alabama Shakes and the Trey Anastasio Band.

Claypool Lennon Delirium New Album to Be Released June 3

Along with the tour announcement released on March 21, Lennon and Les Claypool confirmed the details of their project’s debut album. Titled “Monolith of Phobos,” the first Claypool Lennon Delirium album is scheduled to be released on June 3. The release will be the first project in two years for both Lennon and Les Claypool, who went on tour together in 2015 with their respective side projects.

Also in addition to the Claypool Lennon Delirium tour announcement, the band treated fans to an early release of the album’s debut single, “Mr. Wright.” Watch the video below for audio of the new track, as well as to see the official cover art for the forthcoming album.
