Stripped Down Performances to Make Up Steven Tyler Tour Setlist
At the time of his tour announcement, Tyler has not yet released his impending solo album, which will have a decided country influence. So far the famed rock singer has dropped two singles from the Americana-focused album, including “Love Is Your Name” and “Red, White, and You.” It’s expected that these new songs, plus others off the forthcoming album, will be featured in his upcoming live shows.
Tyler also told USA Today that his 2016 tour will highlight a number of Aerosmith’s greatest hits reworked for an intimate live performance. In addition to playing these much-loved Aerosmith songs, Tyler will tell the lesser-known stories behind the writing of hits like “Sweet Emotion” and “Dream On.”
The backing group for the Steven Tyler 2016 tour will be Loving Mary, a band that’s fittingly based out of Nashville.
