Earlier this month Wu Tang announced their Gods of Rap tour alongside Public Enemy, and De La Soul which included three UK arenas. Due to the high demand they have extended their European tour dates in collaboration of their 25th Anniversary Tour running in the United States.
The RZA, the GZA, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon the Chef, U-God, the Method Man, and Young Dirty Bastard filling in for the late ODB will kick off their Gods of Rap tour on May 10 at the popular SSE Arena in London and conclude May 27 in Helsinki at Helsingin jäähalli. Tour stops in Europe include Manchester’s Manchester Arena, Dublin’s 3Arena, and Paris’ acclaimed AccorHotels Arena.
After the group concludes their Gods of Rap tour throughout Europe they will make their way overseas to the United States for their 25th Anniversary Tour. On May 31 Wu Tang Clan will open their U.S. tour dates in Sterling Heights, Mich. at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre. U.S. tour stops include Chicago, Cleveland, Nashville, and Boston. The tour will conclude August 2 in Minneapolis, Minn. at The Armory.
Over the years these multi-talented rappers produced numerous chart-topping hits those include their 1994 “C.R.E.A.M (Cash Rules Everything Around Me),” “Method Man,” and “Triumph” feat. CappaDonna.
Throughout their career they released a total of seven albums those include, Wu-Tang Forever, The W, Iron Flag and 8 Diagrams. Most of their albums became certified gold or platinum making the group a total global sensation.
