Tour Announcement
On June 15, celebrated R&B star Janet Jackson revealed the details of her 2015-16 Unbreakable World Tour, which will support her first album of original music in seven years. From late August through early next year, Jackson will perform in dozens of cities across North America. The concerts will take place in a variety of arenas, amphitheaters, and smaller theaters, including notable double-night bills in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Calif., and Chicago.

The announcement of the new Janet Jackson tour has been a long time coming for ardent fans of the pop star. Jackson hasn’t released any new music since 2008, when she dropped “Discipline,” the sixth No. 1 album in her career. In conjunction with the new tour, Jackson confirmed that a new full-length album is on the way in 2015. The album title, rumored to be “Conversations in a Café,” hasn’t officially been announced yet.
Along with the tour announcement, Jackson also shared a video from the dance auditions for the upcoming trek. If the audition video is any indication, the 2015 Janet Jackson tour should feature all of the same high-energy moves that put the six-time GRAMMY winner on the map in the first place.
