After the longest regular season in NFL history, the brackets for the 2022 NFC and AFC playoffs are finally here.
This year, the NFL playoffs will feature a Monday night game for the first time ever, which will happen on Super Wild Card Weekend.
The 2022 NFL playoffs will feature a mix of traditional powers and teams that have little recent experience with postseason football.
The Steelers miraculously earned a playoff berth and Ben Roethlisberger's NFL career will last at least one more week. The Tennessee Titans—winners of the AFC South—will enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the AFC for the first time since 2008. The Las Vegas Raiders are playoff bound for the first time in 5 years. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also earned a spot. The Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills are all back in the playoffs.
Here's a breakdown for the 2022 NFL Playoff brackets and the road to Super Bowl 56:
(1) Tennessee Titans (bye)
(7) Pittsburgh Steelers at (2) Kansas City Chiefs
(6) New England Patriots at (3) Buffalo Bills
(5) Las Vegas Raiders at (4) Cincinnati Bengals
(1) Green Bay Packers (bye)
(7) Philadelphia Eagles at (2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
(6) San Francisco 49ers at (3) Dallas Cowboys
(5) Arizona Cardinals at (4) Los Angeles Rams
After wildcard weekend, the brackets will get adjusted so that the No. 1 seed in each bracket faces the lowest-seeded team in the divisional round.
AFC Divisional Round
(4) Bengals at (1) Titans
(6) 49ers at (1) Packers
NFC Divisional Round
(4) Rams at (2) Buccaneers
(3) Bills at (2) Chiefs
The AFC Championship game will feature the (4) Bengals at (2) Chiefs at 3:05 p.m. ET on CBS.
The NFC Championship game will feature the (6) 49ers at (4) Rams at 6:40 p.m. ET on Fox.
Super Bowl 56 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles is coming on February 13, 2022. Buy Super Bowl Tickets and be there in person for the matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams and experience it live! The game will take place at 6:30 p.m. ET, and will be aired on NBC.
