In 2006, Cook released his second comedic album, Retaliation, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 before eventually going platinum. No comedian since Steve Martin in 1978 had enjoyed such success with a comedy album.
The Boston native has gone to release various other albums like Rough Around the Edges: Live from Madison Square Garden and Isolated Incident. Yet, no other album has gained as much success as his second album has.
The multi-talented Cook has acted in many memorable films throughout his acting career like, Employee of the Month, Good Luck Chuck, Dan in Real Life, and Planes. One of his most recent projects has been drama and fantasy TV series American Gods on STARZ.
